Smooth backing is ideal for placement on hard floor surfaces. The beveled edges provide a safe transition from the floor to the mat, and these mats are certified high traction by the National Floor Safety Institute (NFSI). The PET (polyethylene terephthalate) carpet surface is made 100% post-consumer recycled plastic bottles and is naturally resistant to staining and fading, these 3ft x 5ft mats measure approximately 35in x 59in. Please note that mat sizes are approximate as rubber shrinks and expands in conjunction with temperature and time. Tolerable manufacturing size variance is 3-5%.
